Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24 in 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate for the US Senate, as well as a television presenter for MSNBC. She was frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising, along with Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball announced their intention to quit the show in May 2021 to begin Breaking Points, a new independent project with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is co-hosting Krystal Kyle & Friends. Her guest appearances on the show include Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball is able to attribute her interest in politics to being the mother of 2008's primary elections. In addition, she viewed the US election outcome while living in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected the citizens of Jordan and thereby gained an appreciation of the global influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st district for the 2010 election, losing to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She was host of The Cycle, a MSNBC television show that she co-hosted from June 2012 to August 2015. She established the People's House Project (a political action committee dedicated to Democratic causes) in May 2017.
